Robert and I are so excited to introduce you to The Wolfgang Limited Edition. Named after Rob’s Father-in-Law who helped us finance the purchase of this single vineyard and has helped us harvest his namesake vines every year.
 
Oft quoted as our most beautiful and dangerous vineyard, this old mountain site overlooking the 12 century Niederburg castle. It produces some incredibly dramatic and complex fruit. 
 
The 24 months oak elevage on lees and partial ullage yields and incredibly pronounced bouquet of nuts, oak, caramel, and dried fruit. This is complimented by a luxurious pallet of creamy tannin, roasted almonds, chamomile, roasted vanilla bean driven by a taut linear acidity but not overpowering. 
 
This is Riesling like you’ve never experience. It reminds us of Jura rather than Mosel. Only 309 bottles grown.
